Nourishing your body
through every season.
Nutrition impacts pelvic health, hormones, and metabolism, yet these connections are rarely explained.
This is a clear, whole-body approach to supporting your health with confidence.
Amy Burden, MA, RD, CDCES
I work with Pelvic Pathways to bring nutrition and behavior change into pelvic health care in a way that feels practical, supportive, and realistic for everyday life.

I have been a dietitian for 12 years, spending much of that time helping people improve metabolic health, manage weight changes, and better understand how nutrition impacts their daily lives.
My educational journey reflects my belief in lifelong learning. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and later returned to school at 40 to earn my Master's degree in Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Before becoming a dietitian, I worked in non-profit organizations helping people live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Through my own health journey, I experienced firsthand how powerful nutrition and lifestyle changes can be — and that experience is what ultimately inspired me to go back to school so I could help others do the same.
One of my strongest skills is taking complex nutrition and metabolic concepts and making them feel relatable and doable. When you understand what's happening in your body and why certain changes are recommended, it becomes so much easier to stay consistent and see real progress.
I joined Pelvic Pathways to complement the pelvic floor therapy work by bringing nutrition and behavior change into an integrated plan of care. I love connecting the dots between how the body feels, how it functions, and how everyday habits can support healing and long-term health.
Outside of work, I'm a mom of three. I enjoy staying active, learning new things, and spending time with family as we move through different seasons of life.

Our Approach
What we'll work on together:
Gut Health & Pelvic Symptoms Bowel habits, constipation, and bloating are deeply connected to pelvic floor health.
Body Changes & Life Transitions From pregnancy to perimenopause — strategies that fit your life.
Simple, realistic, and built for your life.
We start with your whole picture
Not just what you eat — but your history, your habits, your life context, and what's felt hard before. Understanding the full picture helps us work smarter, not harder.
We make the science make sense
I take complex nutrition and metabolic concepts and translate them into language that's relatable and actionable — so you understand your body, not just a list of rules.
We build in a way that lasts
Rigid, all-or-nothing plans don't work. We create goals that align with your values and fit your real, everyday life — so change feels possible, not punishing.
We stay connected to the whole care team
As part of the Pelvic Pathways team, your nutrition care is coordinated with your pelvic floor work — so nothing falls through the cracks.
